ABOUT TLC FAQ’s

Question: How long have you been operation?

TLC Holidays, a family run business located within the complex, has welcomed new and regular guests to Victoria Court Apartments since 1987.

Question: Where is your office located?

The TLC Management Office is located within the Victoria Court 1 complex and is easily accessible to all guests.

TLC Office Opening Hours are:

Monday – Friday: 9am to 4pm

Saturday: 9am -to 12pm

Sunday: Our office is closed.

ACCOMMODATION FAQ’s

Question: How many people can the Victoria Court apartments sleep?

A One-bedroom Apartment ~ sleeps up to 3 people

A Two-bedroom Apartment ~ sleeps up to 5 people

A Three-bedroom Apartment ~ sleeps up to 6 people 

Question: What is the size of the accommodation?

One bedroom ~ 45 m² 
Two bedroom ~ 65 m²

Question: Do you have English speaking television channels?

Yes ~ Victoria Court apartments offer a full range of British and International TV Channels.

Question: Do Victoria Court Apartments have a balcony or terrace?

Yes ~ The size of Victoria Court balcony or terrace varies depending on which floor and your apartment type.

Question: Is there a heated swimming pool on Victoria Court?

Yes ~ Victoria Court swimming pool is heated in the winter months, but this is not necessary during the summer.

Question: Do I have to hire pool side sun beds?

Yes ~ All items are charged at 2€ / day.

Question: Is there internet access on-site?

Yes ~ Free Wi-fi is available in every apartment and within the pool bar area.

Question: Is the tap water Ok to drink?

Yes ~ however we do recommend that you use our newly installed and regulalry maintained on-site filtered water machine.

Question: What provision is there for cooking? 

All apartments offer a fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, fridge and microwave as standard. 

Question: Is there an on-site restaurant at Victoria Court?

Yes ~ there is a poolside bar serving food, drink and take-away meals. 

Question: Are there security provision on-site? 

Yes ~ for your security and protection, Victoria Court operates secure evening and overnight complex access.

Question: Is there a safe in each property?

Yes – most properties have a safe fitted.  There is a 20€ deposit and 10€ returned at the end of your stay, however long. 

Question: Is my apartment safe and secure? 

When you’re on holiday you obviously relax and wind down.  We always recommend that you are still careful as though you were at home. 

Question: Do you provide items for hire? 

Yes ~ We can provide fans, cots and high chairs. All items are available for hire at a small cost.

Accommodation Rates FAQ’s

Question: Where do I find how much it is to rent an apartment?

The Contact form for TLC Holidays has a table of rental prices for 2024.

Question: Do you ever reduce your accommodation rates?

We offer different rates depending on the time of year – Contact TLC Holidays to confirm your apartment requirements.

Question: Is there a reduction for longer bookings?

Yes ~ For bookings of 4 weeks or more during peak periods reductions may apply.

Question: Do you charge a supplement at any time of the year?

Yes ~ prices are listed on the accommodation pages.

Question: Do you have apartments that allow smoking?

No – Smoking is allowed on balconies and terraces however we do ask you to be considerate of your fellow guests and neighbours.


Booking FAQ’s 

Question: Can I hold an apartment whilst I sort out my flights? 

Yes ~ just call us to hold an apartment for 24 to 48 hours.

Question: How do I book an apartment? 

Simply visit our ‘Booking’ page and complete your booking or Contact TLC Holidays to confirm your apartment requirements.

Question: How do I pay for my apartment? 

You can pay by bank transfer. If you are booking a last minute holiday, ‘cash on arrival’  may be accepted.

Question: What days am I able to book my holiday? 

We take bookings for any day of the week subject to availability and time of year. Note: Sunday is not a changeover day.

We accept bookings for a minimum 5 days subject to availability. Note: Bookings of less than one-week incur a full week charge.

Question: If I like an apartment can I ask for the same one next year. 

Yes ~ as long as it has not already been booked.

Question: Can I request a property in a certain position? 

Yes ~ subject to availability. We cannot guarantee special requests however we always aim to accommodate our guest requests wherever possible.


TRAVEL FAQ’s

Question: How do I get to the complex from the airport?

We recommend Taxi as the easiest option although you can catch a local bus.

If you wish to travel by hire car, we are around 15 minutes from the airport.

Question: Do you pick up from the airport?

We do not offer Airport Transfers at the moment

Question: Do I need to hire a car?

No ~ Everything you may require for a relaxing holiday is within walking distance or a short taxi ride of Victoria Court Apartments.  Car Hire is available at the airport or via local and recommended outlets should you be more adventurous.

Question: How can I get a taxi?

Taxis are available immediately outside Tenerife South Airport arrivals.

From the Victoria Court complex we can call or you can hail a taxi from the nearby rank.

Question: How do I confirm my return flight?

Bring your flight and confirmation telephone number to the TLC office – we’ll do the rest for you.

Question: How much is a taxi to and from the airport?

Around 25€ – just make sure they put the meter on! 

Question: Can I rent a car once I am in the resort?

Yes ~ ask at the TLC office.

Question: How long does it take to get to Santa Cruz?

Santa Cruz in the North of the Island will be around a 50 minute drive.

Question: How long does it take to get to Puerto de la Cruz?

The journey to Puerto de la Cruz will be around 1 hour and 20 minutes.


USEFUL INFORMATION FAQ’s 

Question: What is the weather like during the year? 

Tenerife is famous for its all-year sun although cooler during the Winter (particularly in the evening).

Question: Is there a beach nearby?

Los Cristianos beach is a short and very pleasant walk from Victoria Court  and adjacent to the Port.

A further 5 minute walk through Los Cristianos takes you to Arona beach which is highly recommended.

Question: Where can I do my grocery shopping? 

There are a range of local supermarkets.

Question: Are there any good restaurants you can recommend? 

It is always difficult to recommend restaurants as a matter of personal taste!

If you ask we can give you recommendations and options. There are numerous local bars and restaurants nearby.

Question: Is there an ATM cash point available? 

Yes and just at the bottom of the road (2 min walk).

Question: Where can I change my sterling pounds into Euros? 

Just ask and we’ll point you in the right direction to trusted money exchange outlets.

Question: What do I do in a medical emergency? 

We have a 24/7 callout number to support you during any medical emergency.

Question: What do I do if I need to get to a hospital? 

If TLC are closed, we recommend that you take a taxi and ask for the Green Hospital.

Remember to take your insurance or other paperwork.

Question: Is there a chemist nearby? 

Yes – a 2-minute walk from the complex.

Question: What do I do if I lose my credit cards? 

Call immediately and cancel your cards – then report the theft to the local police.

As with all holiday locations, we always recommend you be wary of pickpockets.

Question: What things are cheap to buy in Tenerife? 

The cost of local food, restaurants, cigarettes, alcohol and clothing are significantly cheaper in Tenerife. 

There is also a local market on Tuesdays and Sundays, offering a range of items at low cost prices.

Question: Is the local wine worth a try? 

Yes ~ and we believe it is getting better and better each year.
